Tigers rally for comeback win over Royals with Dingler and Outman

Outman, hitting.155 prior to the game, hit a crucial homer in the seventh inning that gave the Tigers a short-lived 3-2 lead. Despite being down 2-0 after six innings, the Tigers improved their July record to 12-5 and have won 27 of their last 43 games. Troy Melton struggled initially but managed to hold off further damage with key strikeouts in the first inning.
