Tim Mead elected to American Baseball Coaches Hall of Fame

Tim Mead, Walsh University's all-time winningest baseball coach, has been elected to the American Baseball Coaches Association Hall of Fame. Mead, who boasts 983 victories over 44 seasons, will be honored on January 8 in Chicago during the ABCA's annual convention. He has previously led the Cavaliers to the NAIA World Series in 2007 and the NCAA Division II Tournament for the first time in 2022. In a statement, Mead expressed his gratitude for coaching at his alma mater and acknowledged the support from his family and colleagues. He also serves on the ABCA board of directors and has held various leadership roles within the coaching community.
