Tim Sherwood criticizes Manchester United usage of striker Benjamin Sesko

Tim Sherwood has questioned the role of Benjamin Sesko at Manchester United, arguing that the forward is not yet a top-tier starter for the club. Sesko has served as a substitute in all three of Manchester United's opening matches this season. Manager Michael Carrick has deployed Matheus Cunha in the central attacking role instead of the 23-year-old Slovenian. Carrick has stated publicly that he is managing Sesko carefully while the player continues to develop and recover from a summer shin injury. Despite the limited playing time, Sesko scored an 88th-minute goal against Everton on Sunday. The manager has expressed intent to increase the striker's minutes as the season progresses.
