Titans coach Saleh expresses confidence during bye amid struggles

The Tennessee Titans, now 1-7, are on a bye week as first-year coach Robert Saleh maintains an optimistic outlook despite a 66-game drought without back-to-back wins. The Titans recently traded All-Pro defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons and have faced ongoing issues, including a poor record in close games. Saleh highlighted the growth of younger players, such as rookie quarterback Cam Ward and wide receiver Carnell Tate, who has emerged as a leading receiver. The Titans seek to improve their performance in the second half of the season, with upcoming games critical for their rebuilding efforts.
