Titans defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons ejected from practice session

Tennessee Titans defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons was ejected from practice on August 4, 2026, following an altercation in which he threw a punch during an 11-on-11 drill. Simmons's helmet was ripped off before he struck Titans tackle JC Latham. Titans head coach Robert Saleh confirmed the ejection, reiterating that throwing punches leads to removal from practice. Despite the incident, Simmons continued to participate in practice on another field. Simmons signed a three-year, $105.8 million contract extension in June, making him the highest-paid defensive tackle at the time, though that title has since changed.
