Titans extend Jeffery Simmons through 2031 with record contract

The Tennessee Titans have signed Jeffery Simmons to a three-year, $105.9 million extension, securing him through 2031. This deal follows an aggressive strategy to rebuild the team around a strong defense, moving away from plans to trade Simmons for future draft picks. General Manager Mike Borgonzi aims to quickly shape the Titans into playoff contenders after a disappointing 3-14 season. This extension marks a commitment to winning as the Titans focus efforts on improving their defense and supporting their quarterback, Cam Ward, with new offensive weapons.
