Titans opt to rest starters against Bears in preseason finale

The Tennessee Titans will not play most of their starters in the preseason finale against the Chicago Bears on August 29. Coach Robert Saleh decided that joint practices on August 27 provided sufficient preparation. The Titans are focusing on backups as the roster trim deadline approaches on August 30. Both teams are expected to sit their key players ahead of the regular season, which begins for the Titans on September 13 against the Jets.
