Titans sign running back D'Ernest Johnson to one-year deal

The Tennessee Titans have agreed to a one-year contract with veteran running back D'Ernest Johnson. Johnson, 30, spent part of the last season with the New England Patriots, participating in seven regular-season games and four playoff contests. Over his career, he has rushed for 1,014 yards and gained 465 receiving yards in 103 games since entering the NFL as an undrafted free agent in 2019. The addition of Johnson is part of the Titans' effort to bolster their backfield ahead of the upcoming season.
