TJ Rumfield joins elite group of rookie Rockies performers

Summary

TJ Rumfield of the Colorado Rockies has emerged as a standout in the 2026 season. Recently, he hit a go-ahead two-run home run against the Chicago Cubs, marking his 10th homer of the season. Rumfield's achievement places him among only four Rockies rookies to hit 10 home runs and 50 hits before the All-Star break. This performance draws parallels to previous Rockies greats like Todd Helton, Wilin Rosario, and Trevor Story, who also made significant impacts in their rookie seasons. The Rockies look to continue building on this promising rookie talent as the season progresses.
