Tochukwu Nnadi declines surgery for knee injury to remain with Olympique de Marseille

Olympique de Marseille midfielder Tochukwu Nnadi will not undergo surgery following a serious knee injury sustained during the match against AS Monaco last Sunday. Although consultants advised an operation to address the suspected ACL tear, Nnadi opted against the procedure to facilitate a faster return to the pitch. The player intends to continue supporting the squad during a period when the club faces limited options in the midfield. Manager Bruno Genesio confirmed that Geoffrey Kondogbia is also sidelined with a muscular injury and will miss the upcoming match against Paris FC. In response to these personnel shortages, Genesio is experimenting with different configurations, including testing full-back Ulisses Garcia in a midfield role.
