Todd Monken reflects on Jets HC opportunity as Browns prepare for matchup

Summary

Todd Monken, current head coach of the Cleveland Browns, discussed his prior interview for the New York Jets head coaching position in 2019, which ultimately went to Adam Gase. Monken, who has rejuvenated the Browns and quarterback Deshaun Watson, emphasized the advice he received about self-worth despite rejection. Jets fans may feel conflicted as Monken leads his team into MetLife Stadium for a game against the Jets set for Sunday at 1 p.m. ET.
