Tom Pelissero has one year left on NFL Network contract

Tom Pelissero has a year remaining on his contract with NFL Network, as reported on July 21, 2026. Following ESPN's acquisition of NFL Network, employees were informed their contracts would be honored financially, yet this does not guarantee continued on-air roles. Pelissero will be paid until his contract's expiration but may not appear on air during this period. Layoffs at ESPN have prompted concerns regarding job security among NFL Network staff, highlighting that existing contracts offer no protection against potential layoffs.
