Tom Pidcock, Zoe Backstedt lead Great Britain in cycling World Championships
Summary

Tom Pidcock and Zoe Backstedt will lead a 36-member Great Britain squad at the Road World Championships in Montreal from September 20-27. Pidcock, a contender following a recent mountain bike world title, will be joined by Adam Yates and Oscar Onley in the men's elite category. Backstedt, a notable performer this season, heads the elite women’s team. The event is a significant platform for these riders, especially with reigning champion Tadej Pogacar absent due to injuries sustained earlier in the season.
