Toni Fernandez nearing Serie A move as Venezia leads negotiations

Summary

Toni Fernandez is on the verge of leaving Barcelona for Serie A, with Venezia emerging as the frontrunner for his signature. Discussions are underway for a deal that would allow Barcelona to benefit financially while retaining a stake in Fernandez's future, including a buy-back option. After a strong pre-season with Barcelona’s first team, Fernandez was informed he is not part of coach Hansi Flick's plans, prompting this pursuit for a new opportunity. Venezia's approach appears to be the most advanced amid interest from other clubs in Italy, Germany, and England. The clubs aim to finalize the deal before the transfer window closes.
