Hendrix attempted to use a steel chair, but Mason Rook intervened, preventing the attack. D'Angelo's win marks his second successful defense since winning the title in April. In a subsequent match next week, Naraku will face Rook for the number one contender spot to challenge D'Angelo at the Great American Bash on June 28.
