Top prospects George Lombard, Angel Genao, Kaelen Culpepper join waiver wire

Summary

George Lombard, Angel Genao, and Kaelen Culpepper have been promoted and are available on the fantasy baseball waiver wire as of August 2026. These top-50 prospects in Scott White's midseason fantasy rankings are seen as potential impact players. Lombard, playing for the Yankees, is noted for his impressive offensive skills, including excellent plate discipline and power. Genao of the Guardians and Culpepper of the Twins also bring significant fantasy potential, though Genao faces competition in a crowded infield. Fantasy managers seeking shortstop help this week may prioritize these players based on their circumstances and performance thus far.
