The Topeka Scarecrows traded forward TJ Sneath to the Stockton Thunder on Sept. 8. In exchange for the team’s first-ever captain, Topeka acquired defenseman Josh Slegers and additional financial considerations. General Manager Robbie Nichols credited Sneath for his leadership and historical contributions to the organization during the team's inaugural seasons. Slegers, a 29-year-old native of Simcoe, Ontario, brings professional experience from two leagues, including 44 career regular season games in the Federal Prospects Hockey League. The coaching staff plans to integrate the six-foot-three defenseman into their defensive rotation immediately.
