Toronto Blue Jays may part ways with pitcher Shane Bieber this offseason

Summary

The Toronto Blue Jays are expected to make significant roster changes following a disappointing 2026 season. Reports suggest that Shane Bieber, a top pending free agent, could be among the players the team decides not to re-sign. Despite his proven capabilities, including a strong past performance, Bieber's injury struggles this season may lead the Blue Jays to seek more stability in their rotation. With multiple unrestricted free agents and a need to reshape their roster, the team faces tough decisions this offseason.
