Tottenham advances talks for Savinho in £60 million transfer bid
Summary

Tottenham Hotspur is in advanced negotiations to sign Savinho from Manchester City for approximately £60 million. The club's pursuit signifies a strong ambition during the current transfer window, reflecting confidence in manager Roberto De Zerbi's vision for the team. Savinho's pace and creativity align with De Zerbi's tactical intentions. Tottenham had previously attempted to acquire the Brazilian last summer, but the transfer was blocked at Manchester City’s board level. Spurs aim to complement this potential signing with defensive reinforcements, having had bids rejected for Jan Paul van Hecke.
