Tottenham eyes €85m move for Liverpool winger Cody Gakpo this summer

Summary

Tottenham Hotspur is reportedly preparing an €85 million bid for Liverpool winger Cody Gakpo during the upcoming transfer window. The 27-year-old Dutch international had an inconsistent season at Liverpool, scoring nine goals and providing six assists in 52 appearances. Despite his struggles, Gakpo is viewed as a talented option who could enhance Tottenham's attack. His current contract with Liverpool extends until the summer of 2030, which may complicate negotiations for Spurs. Gakpo is expected to fit well into head coach Roberto De Zerbi's plans for the team.
