Tottenham Hotspur inquire about Mateus Fernandes amid Manchester United interest

Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly made an enquiry for Mateus Fernandes, the West Ham midfielder, as they seek to bolster their squad under new manager Roberto De Zerbi. Manchester United remains in pursuit of Fernandes after identifying him as a key target. West Ham's £80 million price tag, despite their relegation, has complicated negotiations. The entry of Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain into the race adds further challenges. Despite Spurs' interest, Fernandes reportedly favors a move to Old Trafford and United is optimistic about finalizing a deal soon.
