Tottenham Hotspur omit Richarlison from their Premier League squad

Tottenham Hotspur have excluded Richarlison from their official Premier League squad for the first half of the 2026-27 season. Manager Roberto de Zerbi confirmed that the 29-year-old forward requested to leave the club, though a potential move to his former team, Everton, failed to materialize before the transfer deadline. The decision follows internal discussions where it was clarified that Richarlison is not included in the club's plans for the current campaign. Despite his omission from the domestic squad, the Brazilian remains under contract at Tottenham. He is expected to depart the club in the coming days as transfer windows in other regions, including Turkey and Saudi Arabia, remain open for business. Richarlison originally joined Tottenham in the summer of 2022 following a tenure with Everton.
