Tottenham inquiries about PSG goalkeeper Lucas Chevalier amid Vicario's departure

Tottenham Hotspur have made an official enquiry into the availability of Lucas Chevalier from Paris Saint-Germain. With current goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario expected to leave the club this summer following a disappointing season, Spurs have identified Chevalier as a priority target. Vicario has not featured for Tottenham under new manager Roberto De Zerbi after undertaking hernia surgery late in the past season. Chevalier, who previously started the season as PSG's first choice, lost his position to Matvey Safonov and missed selection for France's World Cup squad. PSG is reportedly open to selling Chevalier, but Tottenham may face competition from Aston Villa for his signature.
