Tottenham rejects Sunderland loan offer for Kevin Danso

Tottenham Hotspur has declined a loan inquiry from Sunderland for defender Kevin Danso. The 27-year-old centre-back recently made his season debut as a substitute in a Carabao Cup match against Charlton. With the addition of Marcos Senesi and Jan Paul van Hecke, as well as Micky van de Ven's new contract and captaincy, Danso's opportunities are expected to be limited. Sunderland may consider pursuing Danso further, as his presence on the squad includes 37 appearances for Spurs since joining. Danso was signed permanently from Lens after initially arriving on loan in January 2025.
