Tottenham scores late but falls to Aston Villa in Premier League

Tottenham Hotspur scored their first goal of the Premier League season in the 86th minute but lost 3-2 to Aston Villa. Conor Gallagher's goal came after Tottenham trailed 3-0 for most of the match. The team had previously gone 493 minutes without a goal since the last season's finale. Despite the late effort from Jan Paul van Hecke in the 98th minute, Tottenham couldn't equalize in time. With this loss, the team remains in search of their first win of the season, having earned only two points from five matches. Tottenham will not play again until the Premier League resumes on October 10 following the international break.
