Tottenham targets Brighton keeper Bart Verbruggen this summer

Tottenham Hotspur has intensified efforts to sign Brighton & Hove Albion goalkeeper Bart Verbruggen as they aim to bolster their defense. Manager Roberto De Zerbi, undertaking a significant summer overhaul, sees Verbruggen as a prime candidate following an underwhelming season from Guglielmo Vicario. Verbruggen made 38 appearances in the Premier League last season, keeping 10 clean sheets. Brighton reportedly demands around €50 million for the Dutch keeper, who still has two years left on his contract. Negotiations may be complicated, as Spurs are also pursuing defender Jan Paul van Hecke and have generated interest in Brighton’s Luka Vuskovic to aid in discussions.
