Toulouse FC striker Yann Gboho remains with club after failed Kansas City move

Toulouse FC striker Yann Gboho will not join Kansas City FC after a proposed transfer agreement collapsed at the last minute. The move had been expected to result in a transfer fee of approximately fifteen million euros for the Ligue 1 club. Kansas City currently occupies the final position in the Major League Soccer Western Conference standings. Gboho remains under contract with Toulouse until 2027. While the immediate transfer to the American club is off, the player still has potential options to move as transfer windows in Turkey, Portugal, and Saudi Arabia remain open for a limited time. Gboho has recorded 19 goals and 12 assists in 89 appearances for Toulouse since joining the side in early 2024.
