Tour de France organizers advise fans to avoid Monday's stage finish

Tour de France officials have urged fans to refrain from attending the end of Monday's third stage due to wildfires in southern France. The 195.9km mountain stage starts in Granollers, Spain, and ends near Les Angles, not far from the ongoing fires. Although the race route will remain unchanged, organizers have requested that spectators and non-essential personnel stay away from the final 40km. The region is currently experiencing extreme heat and wildfires, leading to evacuations of nearly 3,000 residents near Perpignan. Race director Christian Prudhomme emphasized the need for exceptional measures amid the crisis.
