Tour of Britain stage three travels from Hull to Beverley

The 2026 Tour of Britain men's cycling race held its third stage on September 4, with riders traveling approximately 120.6 miles from Hull to Beverley. The route passed through several towns and villages in East Yorkshire, including Withernsea, Hornsea, and Driffield. Spectators gathered along the course, which featured a total elevation gain of 636.8 feet. Communities organized local celebrations, including flag-making and cycling festivals, to welcome the participants. Former Olympian Ed Clancy attended the event in Hull, noting the community engagement surrounding the race. Riders began with a neutralised start in East Park before the official racing commenced on Wyton Road.
