Tour of Britain stage two travels from Boston to Skegness

The second stage of the Tour of Britain cycling race took place on September 3, starting in Boston and ending in Skegness. The route spanned approximately 111.9 miles and included passage through several Lincolnshire towns, such as Horncastle, Louth, and Alford. Riders navigated an elevation of 2864.1 feet as part of the regional event. Spectators and former Tour de France winner Geraint Thomas attended the day of racing, which featured community celebrations, street art, and local festivals. The stage began with a neutralised start in Boston’s Market Place at 10:30 BST before official racing commenced on Boston Road.
