Tower Buzzers host 'Fly High, Jackie Night' to honor bald eagle Jackie

The Ontario Tower Buzzers commemorated the late bald eagle Jackie at ONT Field with 'Fly High, Jackie Night' on August 23. The event included members of Friends of Big Bear Valley throwing the first pitch and donating 50% of ticket sales to the nonprofit supporting wildlife education. Jackie passed away earlier this month after complications from anemia and other health issues, leading to an outpouring of community support for her memory. Fans enjoyed clips of Jackie throughout the game, and a new eagle, Kaydee, has been seen with Jackie's partner Shadow, bringing hope amid the tribute.
