Travis Hunter meets Jacksonville Fire Rescue during call on scene

Travis Hunter, a standout player for the Jacksonville Jaguars and 2024 Heisman Trophy winner, was seen with Jacksonville Fire Rescue last week. The encounter occurred while Engine 36 B-Shift responded to a call, where Hunter was already present. A photo shared by Jacksonville Fire Rescue shows Hunter, wearing a police vest, smiling alongside Sheriff T.K. Waters and firefighters. The agency expressed interest in a future ride-along with Hunter. He is expected to participate fully in training camp following recovery from a right knee injury sustained during practice last October. Hunter signed a four-year, $46.65 million contract with the Jaguars after being the second overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.
