Travis MacGregor records four strikeouts in recent Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders appearance

Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders right-handed pitcher Travis MacGregor is working through the remainder of the season after missing most of the year on the 60-day injured list. Following a spring training shoulder injury, the 28-year-old was activated on Aug. 13 and has made five appearances for the Triple-A team. During a recent three-inning outing against the Charlotte Knights, he recorded four strikeouts and helped the RailRiders secure a 9-5 victory. MacGregor previously logged rehab time with the Tampa Tarpons and the Hudson Valley Renegades before joining the RailRiders. Signed by the New York Yankees as a minor-league free agent last December, MacGregor aims to utilize the final month of the season to display his pitching abilities. He holds a career minor-league record of 20-37 with a 4.62 ERA.
