Trevor Lawrence excluded from ESPN's top-10 quarterback rankings for 2026

Summary

Trevor Lawrence of the Jacksonville Jaguars was left out of ESPN's top-10 quarterback rankings for the 2026 NFL season, despite a successful 2025 campaign in which he was an MVP finalist. Lawrence led the Jaguars to a 13-4 record under head coach Liam Coen, significantly improving from the previous season. Although he received an honorable mention, experts ranked several other quarterbacks, including Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes, above him. This exclusion has sparked discussions about Lawrence's standing in the league and what he needs to do to be regarded among the top quarterbacks. The Jaguars are expected to have Super Bowl aspirations in 2026, which could change perceptions if Lawrence performs well.
