Trevor Lawrence performs well at American Century Championship

Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence made a strong finish during the second round of the American Century Championship on July 11 at Edgewood Tahoe South Golf Course in Stateline, Nevada. Lawrence, facing five double bogeys in his first twelve holes, managed to record minus-2 points under the Stableford format, ending with a gross score of 87. He is tied for 43rd in the 90-player field with Tennessee Titans coach Robert Saleh, who is tied with a plus-4 score. Lawrence's playing partner, Baker Mayfield, scored minus-8 points and remains near the bottom of the standings. Leading the tournament is Mardy Fish with 52 points.
