Trey Amos sidelined with ankle injury, status uncertain for Commanders

Washington Commanders cornerback Trey Amos continues to deal with an ankle injury that has prevented him from fully participating in training camp. Amos, a second-round draft pick in 2025, suffered a broken fibula last season and started training camp on the Physically Unable to Perform list due to a soft tissue injury. After being activated on August 7, he reinjured his ankle the following day and missed a week of practice.
