Former Purdue forward Trey Kaufman-Renn has filed a motion for a preliminary injunction against the NCAA to pursue a sixth year of college eligibility. The legal action follows his selection as the 59th overall pick by the Minnesota Timberwolves in the 2026 NBA Draft. Although Kaufman-Renn participated in the NBA Summer League and a team trip to France, he has not signed a professional contract.
