Trey’Dez Green and Whit Weeks share LSU's number 7 jersey honor

LSU Football announced that Trey’Dez Green and Whit Weeks will both wear the No. 7 jersey for the 2026 season. This marks the first time two players have shared the number in the program's history. The No. 7 jersey is known for representing playmakers, with Green being a versatile 6-foot-7 tight end and Weeks recognized as a top linebacker. Previously, Will Campbell and Harold Perkins also received the No. 7 honor, but Green and Weeks will be the first to wear it on the field together.
