Trio of Huskies honored on 247Sports Freshman Midseason All-America Team

Three true freshmen from the Washington Huskies received recognition on the 247Sports Midseason True Freshman All-America Team, announced during the team's bye week. Offensive lineman Kodi Greene, defensive lineman Derek Colman-Brusa, and cornerback Jeron Jones were named among the top first-year players in the nation. Greene has been a starting left tackle, while Colman-Brusa has made an impact with 11 tackles and a sack. Jones, filling in after the loss of veteran starters, leads the team in interceptions with two. Despite an underwhelming season thus far for Washington, the emergence of these young players offers a positive outlook for head coach Jedd Fisch.
