Tristan Ti'a replaces Byrum Brown for Auburn against Southern Miss

Auburn inserted backup quarterback Tristan Ti'a into the lineup during the fourth quarter of the game against Southern Miss. Ti'a took control of the offense on the first drive of the final frame with Auburn holding a lead. This appearance marks a new development for the Tigers, who have leaned on starter Byrum Brown throughout the early stages of the contest. Ti'a previously played for Oregon State as a true freshman, where he made his first start against Washington State. Beyond his collegiate experience, Ti'a participated in the Little League World Series as an 11-year-old. He is one of two players on the Auburn roster hailing from California, joining tight end Arlis Boardingham.
