Despite expectations for the U.S. president to attend the opening match, President Donald Trump will not be present at the Los Angeles Stadium. Instead, Secretary of State Marco Rubio will lead the U.S. delegation, which includes other officials, to the game. Paraguayan President Santiago Peña is confirmed to attend. After facing Paraguay, the U.S. will compete against Australia on June 19 and Turkey on June 25.
