Truro City unveil plan to expand stadium and develop surrounding area

Truro City has announced plans to expand the capacity of the Truro Community Stadium and develop the land surrounding the Langarth site. The proposal, estimated to cost between £50m and £60m, includes the addition of a new clubhouse and increased seating for spectators. Development plans for the site also feature new housing, retail units, a community centre, and a 3G pitch. The club intends to rely on private funding and institutional investors for the project. While the planning process is anticipated to take up to one year, the club is targeting a construction start date within the next two years. This initiative follows the club’s move into the current stadium in the summer of 2024 and aims to provide a long-term foundation for the team’s future growth.
