Tucker Kraft expects return for Green Bay Packers in Week 1

Green Bay Packers tight end Tucker Kraft prepares for the upcoming season after recovering from an ACL injury. Kraft suffered the injury in November 2025 and remained on the team's physically unable to perform list until late July 2026. The 25-year-old received medical clearance for full contact in practice last week, although he did not participate in any preseason games. Prior to his injury, Kraft recorded 32 receptions for 489 yards and six touchdowns over eight games. Following the departure of wide receiver Romeo Doubs and the placement of running back Josh Jacobs on the commissioner's exempt list, Kraft remains positioned as a central element of the Green Bay passing attack. He stated that he expects to be available for the Packers' Week 1 game.
