Tulane track and field teams earn NCAA all-academic honors

On July 21, 2026, the Tulane men's and women's track and field teams were recognized as NCAA Division I All-Academic Teams by the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association. The women's team achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.54, and the men's team had a GPA of 3.49, both exceeding the qualification requirement of 3.0. Seven individual student-athletes received all-academic honors: five women, including Sofie Groeninger and Cara Salsberry, and two men, Rogerio Amaral and Bernard Cheruiyot. Their achievements reflect Tulane's commitment to academic excellence and athletic performance in track and field.
