The Tulsa Oilers triumphed over the Jacksonville Sharks 31-28 in the Indoor Football League playoffs on August 2. Axel Perez kicked a 21-yard field goal on the final play to clinch the victory. Tulsa had been trailing for much of the final quarter but rallied to tie the game with a touchdown from TJ Edwards II. The Oilers will face either the Orlando Pirates or Green Bay Blizzard in the Eastern Conference finals next week.
