Turn 12 at Madrid's Madring circuit offers unique challenge and design

The new Madring circuit in Madrid features a notable corner called La Monumental, set to host its first Grand Prix from September 11-13. This 270-degree banked curve is designed for high-speed entry, with cars expected to reach speeds of 180 to 200 kph. The corner's design integrates hospitality spaces and a large Fan Zone, promising a unique atmosphere for fans. Carlos Sainz, an ambassador for the circuit, noted the corner's potential for overtaking and the impressive speed it allows drivers. As construction progresses on the 5.4 km track, anticipation builds for its inaugural event later this year.
