Twins activate AJ Minter, make several roster changes ahead of deadline

The Minnesota Twins announced multiple roster moves on August 1, 2026, including the activation of reliever AJ Minter from the New York Mets. To accommodate Minter, the Twins optioned starting pitcher Zebby Matthews to Triple-A St. Paul and designated reliever Cody Laweryson for assignment.
