The Minnesota Twins are calling up shortstop Kaelen Culpepper from Triple-A St. Paul ahead of their series against the Milwaukee Brewers this weekend. Culpepper, Minnesota's No. 2 prospect, has had a productive season with a.271 average, 14 home runs, and 46 RBIs. The Twins, currently tied for second in the AL Central with a 57-59 record, hope Culpepper can enhance their lineup, which has struggled offensively since the All-Star break. The team's general manager praised Culpepper's recent defensive improvements after addressing concerns earlier in the season. Previously sidelined by a glute injury, his promotion aims to bolster the Twins' playoff push as they chase the third wild-card spot in the AL.
