Twins defeat White Sox 5-1 after ending a perfect game bid

The Minnesota Twins defeated the Chicago White Sox 5-1 at Target Field on Sunday, concluding a three-game series. Twins starter Zebby Matthews retired the first 17 batters before Drew Romo recorded a two-out single in the sixth inning to end the perfect game attempt.
