Twins score four runs, defeat Rangers 4-2 in Arlington

On June 15, the Minnesota Twins defeated the Texas Rangers 4-2 in Arlington. Josh Bell hit a three-run homer in the first inning, and Byron Buxton added his 23rd home run of the season leading off the sixth. Texas countered with Joc Pederson's two-run shot in the third. Rookie Mike Paredes pitched 4 2/3 innings for Minnesota, allowing two runs. Four Twins relievers combined to hold the Rangers scoreless for the remainder of the game. The Twins continue their series against the Rangers with Zebby Matthews scheduled to pitch next.
